The biggest problem with Amaravati is RealEstate. Anywhere in the world, town/city comes first and then realestate follows but here it is reverse. Logistacally and economically it will not work as private businesses always looks for margins/profits. Govt sector is different and they can construct anywhere they want but private companies and people run behind margins including you and me. Amaravati have lot of competition from neighboring cities and you have to give lands cheaply and lot of subsidies to bring in private which is big loss to state and you don't know how many jobs they create and how long they can survive in this ever changing dynamics.

TDP know they will lose in amaravathi if they don't do any development . They are making absurd bills that wont pass to show jagan as boogeyman to amaravathi people and get votes.
