He can. Very early on, Baboru and Balayya tried to suppress him and jeopardize his career, but he is able to sustain this far. He realized the true politics of Baboru and started to stay away, instead of being played. He used to be so crude before and did lot of rotta stuff in his slump period. Now, he groomed himself and started to cater to different sections of the audience.Anyone with such self improving capabilities will adapt to tough situations real quick, NTR is no exception.

Yes they should contest and KCR should become CM and not give minister post to CBN...
