5) The opposition currently is so fractured - they are fighting among themselves as to who needs to be the bellwether for their INDIA coalition. After the 3 losses - Congress is being subtly and not so subtly admonished by members within the INDIA alliance.

 

Overall - BJP is well placed currently to secure a 3rd successive term under Modi.
