Sonia thought she will get TG support by forming a separate state. On the other hand, decimate Jagan by placing him in Jail and eventually recover in AP. Both moves failed in 2014. 

I don’t know if she thought Zaganna would be completely out of the picture in AP. But TG Congress sarkar was definitely on her mind. 

She got old and complacent. She was smarter in 90s and 2000s.

2 terms power lo unna, they got 30% of the seats. They will come back to power again. 

Lot of reasons for their defeat. But TDP isn’t the reason why Congress won. Definitely some small % of left over TDP vote shift to Congress. Similarly there is YCP vote as well.

You have only seen KTR in the media all these years but his potential is yet to be proven. He is way too polished to shine in mass politics.
