People have short memories. It was Dora that started the trend by poaching the MLAs from metros. At one point Jagga started threatening saying he has a list of 42 MLAs that are ready to jump and enough to take down the govt. that is when TDP opened the gates.

Adi different vayya. He was an MP wanted to be close to ruling party at center. He made up his mind even before counting. 
This is similar to TDP rajyasabha mps jumping ship. I won’t be surprised if had Jagan’s approval
