Why leaders and other peddavalu have started wearing Tamil style dhoti?

Venkaiah Naidu wore it. Now Sandranna, Zaganna, and Doranna are wearing it for traditional activities.

Back then, most nayakulu wore panchakattu like Chenna Reddy, Brothergoru, and Razanna.

Of course danne manam lungi antam. Also most families do not wear dhoti, but wear the patte pancha as a lungi. It has been a tradition for us for a while now. My dad uses pattu panche as lungi in most functions. I do see a lot of others doing the same. 

Panche anedi mostly villages lo.

I know Venkaiah and Sandranna wear dhoti like Tamil style. I thought it was because their native jilla of Nellore and Chittoor was near Tamil Nadu.

Quiet possible. There is always influence from neighboring districts/ states.

Lungi like checkered cloth or patte pancha wrapped like lungi?

dhoti looks beautiful if you wear it properly.. we are losing it currently.. now mallu bhatti wears it in politicians. 

earlier ntvodu & rajanna used to wear it.
