Spate of resignations rock YSRC, Jagan unmoved!

A spate of resignations rocked the ruling YSR Congress party in Andhra Pradesh led by chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, but the latter appears to be unmoved with the latest developments.

Within minutes of senior YSRCP legislator from Mangalagiri Alla Ramakrishna Reddy resigned from the party and also his assembly membership, several of his followers announced that they were quitting the party.

YSRCP president of Tadepalli town B Venugopala Swamy Reddy, Tadepalli (rural) mandal president Munnangi Vivekananda Reddy, Tadepalli town convenor E David Raj, Guntur district YSRC social media convenor Meka Venkat Rami Reddy and Mangalagiri Rural mandal convenor Annapureddy Brahmananda Reddy resigned from their posts and the party.

But Jagan appears to be unperturbed by the developments.

By evening, he announced Ganji Chiranjeevi as the in-charge of the party in Mangalagiri, thereby declaring that he would be the party candidate for the next assembly elections.

At the same time, a similar situation arose in Visakhapatnam YSR Congress party unit. Gajuwaka MLA Tippala Nagireddy’s son Tippala Devan Reddy resigned from the party, after coming to know that he would not be given the party ticket, which would be given to a candidate from Yadava community.

There have also been reports that former minister from Ongole Balineni Srinivas Reddy might also call it quits to the party, as Jagan expressed anger at him for declaring that he had taken kickbacks for the works when he was a minister in the Jagan cabinet.

Balineni is also likely to be denied the party ticket from Ongole in the coming elections, sources said.

With fresh faces....anti-incumbency will be reduced to a great extent...Telangana elections is going to help YCP & Jagan a lot...to begin with, many TDPians r questioning alliance with JSP....although it is clear ChaBaNa is not in a position to take risk...JSP will demand seats in GodZillas where vote transfer from TDP might or might not happen!

sitting MLA kanna kuda Jaggadu medha negativity baane spread aindi ipudu .. idhi varaku Urban lo mathrame undedi .. ipudu slow ga villages ki paakindi .. if the same trend follows.. definite ga rod guarantee to Jaggadu

Rural, Semi-Urban lo ChaBaNa ki antha scene ledu....! he was never popular in rural areas..! also ChaBaNa free bus for women...will make auto & cab drivers vote for YCP whether they like YCP or not...already Telangana lo auto & cab drivers r complaining...rides padipoyayi ani! Telangana effect baagane paduthundi Andhra paina good & bad!

Expect at least 30% of the MLAs to be changed and also many general tickets to be given to other castes.

Telangana lo cab rides thaggina reason was .. free ga cabs ichaaru .. aah effect valla .. when I went to India this year every cab driver complained lack of rides becos that free cab distribution ..
