Pixel apps auto update

Hi, 

Is anyone here  facing an issue with apps auto update in Pixel devices ? I have been a Pixel user since its first edition and using 7 pro currently. Last device I had everything working on was Pixel 3 XL. I have switched to 5, 6 and 7 pro after that but none of these devices updated the apps automatically. I have contacted Google support so many times and followed thier troubleshooting steps but no use.  Usually when the app updates are available they will be updated automatically once you plugin the device for charge which isn't happening now. Few of my friends are facing the same issue but it's working for few. I am really not sure if the issue is with my Google account or device or Google itself. If anybody else is facing this issue or have any information regarding it , please share.

Try leaving your phone charged overnight for couple of days.

I have pixel 7 pro, no issues with auto update.
