As you said in your own review - there are few things every one liked...some liked ranbir acting, most liked BGM and songs, some liked action episodes etc...

No one liked the entire movie and most hated the 2nd part. 
BUT, BUT - it is far far better than recent cringe max pro movies like jawaan and pathaan. 
That's why it is such a hit. 

A rated movie with 3.5 hours length is never supposed to make this much money. 

95% of audience come out satisifed with the money and time spent. That's a big win. 

I know lot of people who watched pathaan and jawaan just for SRK and reluctantly appreciated the movie - just quoting 1 or 2 things in the movie. Compared to it Animal has many thing to like (and few things to dislike).

this is why its always better to watch a pirated copy online, than be a sucker and watch the movie by paying an entrance fee. piracy rocks.
