This movie has spectacular BGM and very well shot - which can only be experienced in a theatre with good sound system.

No one liked the entire movie and most hated the 2nd part. 
BUT, BUT - it is far far better than recent cringe max pro movies like jawaan and pathaan. 
That's why it is such a hit. 

A rated movie with 3.5 hours length is never supposed to make this much money. 

95% of audience come out satisifed with the money and time spent. That's a big win. 

I know lot of people who watched pathaan and jawaan just for SRK and reluctantly appreciated the movie - just quoting 1 or 2 things in the movie. Compared to it Animal has many thing to like (and few things to dislike).

If Sandeep trimmed this part and replaced with nicer scenes and 3hr movie release chesunte assalu inka entha hit ayyedo....repeat value inka ekkuva undedhi and for sure it would easily cross more than 1000cr.

Yes. It might have lost some viewers who liked tripti , but easily 1000C ... And also critics approval and cement his name as biggest director.

Pathaan and jawaan are 10% of quality as this one and made 1000C , which is a shame
