Whatsapp transfer from Android to iPhone.. moveto iOS app failed. What are my options?

Have to reset again sadly, so do first round of whatsapp only using that apk and import to iPhone, take back and reset.

then get the whole phone copied from droid to ios and install whatsapp and restore from icloud backup
