Yes, he was in Congress between 1980-1983. Youth Congress leader. 1983 lo TDP tharupuna MLA ga poti chesi odipoyadu. Nadendla vennupotu tharuvatha elections lo gelichaadu. KTR peru TDP lo join ayyake Ramarao ga change chesadu ani talk.

I don't think Revanth tried for ticket in TRS. When there was graduate MLCs he contected as an independent candidate against Congress candidate. TDP candidate ni pettaledhu. Revanth ki support chesindhi. Next elections lo MLA seat iccharu.

When KCR and Chandrababu started their political careers, there were no parties other than the INC and the communists.

KCR was a youth congress leader and commenced his political journey as a Congress karyakartha, under the prominent INC leader Madan Mohan Rao from Siddipet .

In 1983, he switched allegiance to the TDP when NTR founded the party. Despite contesting against his mentor Madan Mohan Rao, KCR initially lost the election. However, in subsequent by-elections, he emerged victorious and retained that seat consistently thereafter.
