the disgusting aspect of what is happening in India is Modi doesn't even have to try hard to be a fascist.

every institution in India will gladly align with him.

even at the height of Indira Gandhi's dictatorial regime, courts stood up to her. No such luck with Modi.

the entire country has lost its mind, and its humanity. Modi has the mandate to do whatever he wants. the republic part is immaterial now.

they all live in their own world where whatever Indian central govt does is good. or not that bad. they mostly don't care.
