you have to read about them to understand their ideology. We only know about them based on what media says about them.

i don't think taliban is good in any way. they are puritanical in their interpretation of religion and restricting women from even working. even saudi is not as restrictive and they are also super rich. girls and women education complete gaa stop chesaru. it is like women are only needed for breeding annattu. also no one owes afghanistan anything. can't expect someone to feed you or send aid while their own govt.(taliban) does not take any steps to improve their situation. 

sad part is the leaders in power are probably well fed and housed and don't face any of the issues the poor women are facing surviving with their families

these talibans are product of cold war….intially they were encouraged by అమెరికా for their needs…later talibans used religion to control/power…(classic move of mixing politics and religion for power..)

Read about the kings who ruled Afghanistan before the Taliban took over.. they all tried to modernize the country. Even Iran too. The fundamentalists took back the country with west’s help and took it back to a culture that was there thousands of years ago..
