On the contrary, it was Modi's govt that created the current conflict in Manipur.

these western 'institutions' are mostly independent bodies that criticize their own govt as well.

hope telugus wake up and fight for greater federal structure, and abolishing of GST, by the time conversation moves to delimitation that will take any little agency remaining from Telugus in the union.

suppose you have a company that is selling to different customers, would you want an employee of yours to be talking sh1t about one particular group?

people have lost jobs on either side of the spectrum in the US, both left and right. plenty of people lost jobs for being critical of Israel now for instance.

Free speech is a right that is given to the citizen by the federal govt of US. It doesn't apply to corporations running their own fiefdom. It doesn't also apply to the govt employee who's supposed to treat everyone without bias. but a US citizen can be as bigoted as he wants, and govt won't punish him until he hurts someone, or is about to.

in India, the govt is murderous with people who are critical of it. even you know that.. there's a reason why you escaped India. don't lie to yourself.
