Its your unclaimed money that went to State. I recently got notified. I went online and saw the same information on Govt site. Good amount of money (stocks) that I surrendered when a company got bought. There was a clause for additional money down the lane. I closed the stock account. Looks like that went to state. I am surprised to see an additional $10+ that went from my old Trash+Water account. Quote

If you find the amount after search, add to your cart and claim. IF the $ amount is less, its an easy process. IF its more than $1000, you have to take a print of their form (which is visible during claim process), notarize with additional documentation (Drivers license, SSN, address proof) and send to the state address listed.
