Just my 2 cents on how the  theatre industry runs in the market-

Theaters cannot dictate terms because of high bargaining power of suppliers.  Normal ga theaters kalsi revolt cheydam  makes sense to balance out the power but  reality lo idi  antha easy kaadu. 

Theaters,  foot traffic meeda depend avuthadi to generate revenue and cover their costs e.g. rent, maintenance,  and staff salaries. Most importantly, theaters have to buy licensing agreements to screen movies. Ee  agreements normal ga dictate chesedi production houses and distributors. This is where power imbalance will occur with big production houses as they supply content consistently.  

Ikade distributors like Dil Raju monopolize. People like him can simply negotiate terms. Meeru cheyakapothey next movies meeku ivanu antadu, anthey kaadu he will bring in his entities/partners (other big production houses) and exert over content availability and negotiate pricing. So overall ga theaters have no choice but  agree to these terms. inka small or independent theaters aithey chepakarledu, vala situation particularly precarious. Vaalu large crowd attract chesetheney income, lekapothey shutdown aa. Plus OTT, streaming services, piracy tho inka complicated vala situation

So, sadly theaters have  to agree with the rules and agreements  to maintain strong business relationships with the suppliers. This is not just with AP/TN theaters, this is applicable  throughout the world.
