They dont go to court and all. Just keep in social media will make the company bad and create some noise

she wouldn’t have publicized if she had given valid reason, she was pissed off hearing that performance metrics as the reason.

if u are compelled to fire, a new hire is usually the lowest impact to company to let go unless you already have another low performer

If you are fired for a competence reason, you don't get unemployment benefits and the company need not pay I guess. Otherwise, the company cannot keep H1-Bs while they fire citizens, they need to pay severance etc etc. To avoid all that overhead cost, they might have chosen this route.

Corporates are playing with lives in the names of stock price. This is why capitalism is a terrible thing. There should he a law and hefty penalty for firing before one year, something like in Europe

policy and legality are two different things. Policy follow avvakapothe, em chestaru? Fire chestara? Already chesaaru kada! I admire her guts though. Corporates deserve this. 😂

Overall, HR did a poor job. They clearly said she was laid off based on her performance but they could not explain the basis for that decision. Looks like they don't have any reasons, but in that case, they should not have said it is based on performance.

she is recording this for future lawsuit, she can easily file case with false reason for getting fired

recording without consent can easily be overcome using whistleblower protections as long the fraud is proved.

statement from company folks are now part of records, they have to prove performance aspect during lawsuit. company mostly settle with fired employee instead of opening up their rules to court.

the girl has hit a jackpot for sure.

severance package not applicable when you are fired ?

is severance package a mandatory thing when you get laid off ?

@Vaaaampire  Bay Area lo new trend...also many companies might follow..

Employees to lawsuit waiver sign cheyistunnaru....

instead of going to public courts, they can appeal against a 3rd party company designated bench....and settle the issue there..

last month ma to sign cheyincharu....even if you dont sign, you are automatically enrolled, unless you specifically deny...

also kotta jobs apply chesetappudu this feature is being added in the application...

baita lawsuits lo chala mingutunnaru dabbulu ani....ila veltunnnaru...
