..Consciousness is connecting bridge....between your mind and brain.. with the word " i " and gives identity..to answer questions like "who am i"...and concludes "నేనూ అంటే.. నేను అని ఆలోచించే  నా ఆలోచన" ...which makes you whole package...

 

i could be wrong with my ఆలోచన...

I still think they are originated from some organ with in brain. I don't think science has evolved to a level that gives clarity about this.

Can AI gain consciousness? because if it fails to achieve consciousness, there's a danger that it can wipe humans out.

not that I care if AI kills humans, outside of the normal objection to genocide itself, I'd be okay with it as part of humanity's inability to justify their intellectual stagnation.

humans are not important, atleast collectively we are not, perhaps there are some individual splices of consciousness that are worth something. But most humans are better off not existing.

AI will teach us.. and it will not be pretty.

plenty of humans will be forced to unlearn all the disgusting habits they learned while pretending like we are under attack, or that we got to play our part in some mystical food chain

example for how normal humans (neurotypicals) can get easily thrown off their game (act weird), when they encounter an autistic person with a completely different stream of consciousness.

they act like extreme autistic themselves.

its like a guy trying to avoid a drunk or person high on drugs.

a less accurate example would be how people react to videos of looting and petty thievery, compared to videos with dictators (Modi) giving bhashan.

They are okay with, and even align themselves with Modi and try to give him the benefit of the doubt, but would outright condemn and encourage police action on the looters.

The ability of upcoming tech trends (body implants, augmentation etc) to allow humans morphological freedom means we'll have sentient beings with self reference more complicated than any one 'consciousness' can process.

life has the meaning that you give to it, along with the purpose you give to it.

you can chose to live a sheltered life like @pakeer_saab obsessed with ancestral sh1t, in which case you can live like a caveman defending his territory like dogs marking their territory with their piss.

or you can live like a human with a continuous urge to evolve into a higher being, where you can attempt to expand your consciousness to farthest extent of the universe.

a lot of mumbo jumbo I agree. But the least humans can do is to experiment in all directions instead of playing safe.

but if you are the kind that doesn't want immigrants pouring into your heaven, because others who don't want that have a convincing argument for it, you are already setting yourself up to be just another unevolved animal in the world.
