Lk advani stood up a stand for modi and almost defended within party and nda allies too..

Modi remember people who opposed him very well ,so baboru faced some music in modi 1.0 too even though ally , baboru playing dumb try to put blame on Modi for anti incumbency on him and played special status and tried to stich a non BJP front but failed ..miserably now trying to cozy with bjp again through old connections like gadkari ,rajnath etc...lets see what happens

advani never endorsed modi for pm in 2014 , he want to be himself the candidate or sushma swaraj

then bjp president rajnath singh vetoed parlimentary board(which is the final decision making body of bjp )in support of modi along with few others jaitley and venkaiah naidu , even advani havent even came for the meet , even tho sushma swaraj,uma bharati,nitin gadkari seniors like yashwant sinha, jaswant singh  opposed 

therefore differnces propped up , RSS mohan bhagwat and modi are peers known each other since they are kids , so even RSS had some personal choices , they backed modi coz of hugely popular candidate and gujju businessmen can fund party in a big way 

advani didnt like all these developments , he was sidelined coz once he went to pakistan and said jinnah was great statesman etc , so that irked RSS too , so RSS never came across in support when he was sidelined by moshah

interesting observation to make

rajnath is like dharmana prasad rao of ap , whoever the congress cm is revenue or some plum portfolio is with him and he will be in top 3, they (dharmana and rajnath) never expect cm or pm chair for them .thats how they are ministers for long time

same as rajnath was home in first 5 years of modi govt , now defence minister for 5 yrs , minister for highways and transport in vajapayee govt
