Upma and idly through weekdays , dosa or puri on weekends. 

Kids these days take everything for granted .. and spend money on the luxuries they cannot afford but by the time it is time for education and higher expenses they run out of everything.

a lot of tiny details like these in 90s is what saved the money for our higher studies etc.
