I am on H1 and I have both GE and TSA Pre

GE ki apply chesthe passport police verification chestharu india lo. to get a clearance - this process takes about 6 months.

Once you get the clearance from Indian passport services, then you need to either schedule an interview, or do an international trip and you can have that interview at your POE.

 

GE includes TSA Pre approval also.

this is good for 5 years

lot of credit cards pay for your GE application fee. but indian passport police clearance kosam inkoka $80 varaku aithadi.. adhi manam out of pocket pettukovali.

 

worth if you travel for work very often

H1B can also get Global Entry but its a longer process. Basic ga GC unte only US checks and gives Global Entry, ade Visa aiyte US will check and India will also check and then give Global Entry.

Depends on airline. Airlines has to support this functionality, basically it has to be integrated in their boarding pass. Most of the low cost airlines don’t have this.

Yeah, he does enter KTN while booking tickets but PreCheck ravataledu. Airlines said maybe you are entering wrong and TSA said its not available for people on Visa even if you have Global Entry. I dont think it's the right answer. So wanted to confirm, you are on H1B with Global Entry and getting TSAPreck on domestic boarding pass?

I never had any problem from last 1 years I ma on H1 all the time I get ore check no issue seven on Spirit and Frontier airlines

yes. I get TSA Pre on domestic flights.

When you book your flight or checkin for a flight, known traveler number ani oka field untadi.. you need to fill your TSA pre approval number in there

Naaku GC vunna pandemic time la took almost 1 year anna. Ippudu process konchem better aindhi anta. Conditional vasthe int trip vunte easy peasy vachetappudu Vanni interview cheyyamante vaade chesthadu

i guess it took about 3 months for me after police verification.. nenu kuda police verification appudu india lo ne unna.

just formality step adhi.. intiki oka police odu ochi 2k tiskoni poyadu
