Jagan Fired All The Protesting Anganwadi Workers

For the past few weeks, Anganwadi workers in Andhra Pradesh have notably fought for an enhanced salary agreement. But the AP government didn’t budge to these demands from the Anganwadi workers and warned them of consequences if they didn’t get back to their duties immediately.

 

In a breaking development today, the YS Jagan government has ordered all district collectors to fire the protesting Anganwadi workers from their jobs immediately.

 

The government has issued strict orders to collectors to remove Anganwadi workers who aren’t tending to their duties from working positions effective immediately.

Despite the multiple rounds of talks with cabinet minister Botsa Satyanarayana, Anganwadi workers weren’t satisfied with the promises made by the AP government. The government then imposed ESMA on these workers on 6th January. But the protesting Anganwadi workers did not step back. In the end, Jagan made the decision to fire these protesting workers on an immediate basis.

because of heavy advertisements and schemes in educational sector by jagan govt…lot of people joining their kids ….in anganvadi…

so they got more workload…

i thought anganwadi is tied up to govt schools & anganwadi guys take care of govt school kids.. isnt that the case? does it work independently?
