80 k 150 k 250 k with a flat tax of 30% then  one with 80k will have  tough time to survive with flat tax rate.

Teachers in California make 60k-80 k then everyone should aim for not being teachers ?  In that case, who will teach kids at the end of day ? There are certain professions-  one cannot make high salaries .

You are quoting a typical pay. How about people who come from the higher spectrum? Aren't they teachers? Professions alone don't define pay; competence does. To your questions, when there is a dearth, there will be demand that will eventually lead to pay hikes.

We have welfare schemes to support such people.
