When changing job how much % pay hike is reasonable

it depends... how do the career paths compare? what is your goal? what about the cost of living if you are relocating.. lot of things to factor in.. but I do agree with the previous replies.. 20% is the min if you are looking at just the salary hike..

No relocation involved, current job and prospective job is remote in NC.

Changing job for better pay and come out of toxic work culture. Manager is good but upper management not allowing to hire more which is making us to suffer with too much work load.

you should ask for the salary what the role in your new organization is worth in the market .... do NOT limit yourself to your current plus X percent.... yes minimum 25% leka pothey new oppty light theeskovaali

One yard stick is the median wage in that area. But also consider demand and supply dynamics.
