Value is there for the ones that learn skills. Some learn that through school and genuine work experience. Some street smart people will initially take fake experience route to get in and then are forced to learn and master it. Both these categories will succeed. Then there is third category, fake resume 'back up' management, who don't bother to learn real skills and skills that are too easy and predictable which can be automated. This category struggles, but unfortunately they are far higher in numbers.

But myself and @Sucker were talking about student visas specifically....
