OCI Application

Anyone recently applied for OCI for new born? I have submitted my application but got a request from vfs that the bearer of the US passport has to sign the page 3 and copy of it has to be attested by the applicant and the parents. Do they mean to have a finger print of the new born in the original passport and then take a copy of it? I initially submitted a copy with minor fingerprints and also parents signature. Please help

Already chusanu and applied based on that. Everything good, e oka point paina hold lo pettaru. 1 year old ki kuda inni requirements ah, as a parent nuvvu notarize chesi anni docs submit chesina kuda. Horrible process

YouTube lo videos vunnai for OCI application process but some of them are 2 years old. Latest documents checklist and requirements change chesaru, need to mind that anyone who is applying. thanks

Anna neeku Dorikithe ikkada vey. Same situation may be next week cnrstha.

Initial process simple govt website lo part A and B completion. Photo and finger print are also mandatory to upload.

 

Then we have to upload all the docs. For this, download latest checklist from vfs website as per your application. This is important. Some of them need to be notarized and some has to be self attested.

 

Then upload the docs to the website and download the application that has all the details you provided. This has to be signed by both parents and also minor sign or fingerprints and notarized.

 

Then pay the fee in vfs website. You can opt for vfs pre paid courier or your own. Send all the docs along with application to the designated Indian embassy. I also have sent the checklist doc and 2 passport photos. Hope this helps to some extent.

Avunu anna vadu ichi a instructions and Komi website lo step by step process untadhi 

nenu apply chesi 5 yrs ayindhi  maa vadiki almost same process she but koncham digitalize ayindhi 

monna oka friend ki help chesanu

No. Minor passport page 3 lo minor name type chesi,in brackets father or mother ani mention chesi signature petta.

Please be informed that the parents need to provide a signature on the applicant's US passport on page 3 where is signature of the applicant is mentioned and parents need to sign beside and provide a copy of it and submit it to process the application
