car accident ayyindi , other party is at fault luckily no physical damage to people involved. Other party fixed the damages but diminished the value ki they are offering only 2% of car value vs 10% of car value requested.

car accident history unte value baga tagguthundi kada. Ippudu yem cheyacchu ? Small claims court ki velthey yemanna workout avthunda ? Anybody here went to small claims court ?

there are agents who write up diminished value report for 100-200. They document it pretty good and it's hard for insurance companies to reject them. Try that route, small claims might not work in this situation

tried that route already DVCheck ani oka copmany undhi they charged like ~$300 . Few months nunchi nadusthundhi conv with insurance, after 5 back and forth email exchanges with DVCheck and insurance, dvcheck finally said either accept the 2% or go to small claims court

Yes but before going in to court, get a diminished value report from a local dealer or  registered car appraisal value company. If car was damaged and fixed send the original invoice with what parts are replaced and repaired to that company, they will provide car value before and after accident. 

 

Then send diminished value report to opposing party and their insurance. Typically they come up with counter offer and then you can, this can go back and forth. If both of you can't come to conclusion let them know you are going to court. 

Hire a local lawyer to represent which is always best they does all the paper work and represent you while you file a case. From then on leave it to lawyer, he will continue conversation.

 

If nothing is sort, court will give a hearing date and inka lawyer chepindi cheyi

upto counter offer step done.... but now yem cheyyali next ani thinking and trying to find option which has most value ( money , time and stress).

Depends on car diminished value, 

These lawyers normally charge between 400 to 1000 to take up the case and then once you win it , it will 20% of what you get

 

 

So if you pay 1000 now and you won the case for 10k to be given by defendant party, you will give only 1k here since you already paid 1k so you got 8k as a diminished value.

So costly em avadu since your car is just months old

try small claims then, process should be straight forward and do it yourself. Most lawyers won't take case without injury
