quest Posted April 2, 2024 Report Posted April 2, 2024 I live in India where car loan and home loan interest rates are at 10%... in this situation, is it worth to invest in stock market (I am just like pick a stock and forget about it.. like a long term goal).. or should I take the money out and use it to pay off the loan and then think about investing in stocks? Variety_Pullayya Posted April 2, 2024 Report Posted April 2, 2024 maybe invest in land. other forms might not give more than 10% returns. so either reduce your debt or invest in land 1 Quote

yogdenon Posted September 11 Report Posted September 11 I’ve been in a similar spot with a high-interest loan and also wanted to invest long-term. What helped me was splitting my approach: I kept investing small amounts in stocks while also paying down the loan gradually. On the side, I tried Lendermarket to earn passive income—it was nice seeing steady returns without touching it, which made balancing debt and investments feel less stressful. Quote
