1] High interest rates are not going anywhere. So companies will be very conservative with their investments 

2] Most likely Trump will win this time. Immigration problems will be back. Steve miller will devise immigration plan for RNC this time. 

3] Devin is a prototype. They are developing more advanced AI software engineers

4] over saturation of market. Economy is not growing as fast as IT technologies. 
 

All these may sound generic. But when they all coexist together. It makes a hell of a difference.

all we have to do is come out of comfort zone...and upscale..

upscale means not the only tech...wherever we need improvement in us...

 

and i agree...next 5 years going to be huge transformations...we cant fix other things which is not in our control...except fixing ourselves...

yes, after 2030 there will be a significant change and heavy impact of tech in many aspects of life.

software engineering work is one of them.

We always need to be cautious but at the same time, should not be scared of everything. Planning is the key. Keep some savings aside, Make some cautious investments that are good in long run. Enjoy luxuries with in means. 

Tech will see a lot of changes in the next 5-10 yrs. Do not be scared of situation. Look for opportunities.
