katharnak Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 At last the Rosaiah's government has initiated action against the Rajeja IT park which is involved in the 4800 crore scam in Madhapur in Hyderabad.Today the Rosaiah government sent income tax officials to the IT park and also is making moves to take back the 110 acres alloted to it.Raheja group got 110 acres in the Madhapur area in 2003 at a cost of 50 lakhs per acre. At that time they promised to bring around 28000 jobs to Andhra Pradesh by building the IT companies in the 110 acres.But till now they did not create even a single job and has been planning to sell of the 110 acres to realtors!They got each acre for around 50 lakhs and were to pay around 55 crores to the government. But till now they paid only few crores and added to that the real cost of each acre is around 42 crores and now the 110 acres costs around 4800 crores!It is good to see that the Rosaiah's government has at last realized the wrongdoings of the Raheja group.
