From last couple of years as the prices increased, we are getting like high quantity of chicken than rice in the servings. we should be exciting as we are getting more bang for our buck, but sadly the quality of chicken gone down hill.. Bayata tinadam chala taggipoyindi now a days due to kids and all, but when we fell like eating something outside, Quality of chicken is making me nervous, aslau adi chicken ena or some other stuff na ani.. if it is chicken how stale it is ani... PreCovid, atleast takkuva chicken vachina, quality used to be good in most places.... ofcourse, everything depends on restaurants.. did any of you guys have have similar experience in calif, dallas and nj where we have too many indian restaurants

maa inti daggara 4 desi restairants. 2 are bad - so godava ledu. okati depends on the day and oil quality seems to be WORST. everytime we get itchy throat etc. a friend's family also feels the same. kaani akkada janlu oka range lo untaru. relatively market rates.

another one. good taste (not excellent), decent ambience, very consistent taste. 20% more expensive but never get sick or health issues. meat/rice ratio is also good. eppudu kooda - motham rice ochini ane feeling ledu. baagunna baalekunna desi restaurant ante memu akkade potham. worst case we wont like food but wont get sick.

For ppl eating regularly, they don’t see the difference in quality.. food quality now is terrible.. baita inchithe half day lo spoil aipotundi..

take a break for a couple of months from eating at Indian restaurants and you will easily identify how bad the food at restaurants is..

we almost stopped eating outside after doing that.. when we rarely eat, we eat at subway or chipotle or some nice pizza place..

If you are not happy with the quality of food, take some civic responsibility. Complain to Environment Health Department. They will do random checks and if they find problems, will take appropriate action.
