open thread on billing rate for developer roles in US

this is a great forum. not sure if this topic is already discussed. open ended thread for discussions on prevailing billing rates in recent/future years. Any folks doing IT contracting willing to share typical billing rate to expect based on visa status, industry, location etc. I will start. 

Sr Dev with cloud experience, US citizen, banking, midwest - last 2 years: 75-90 per hour. before that low six figures with 5-10 % bonus.

long term full time employee with steady pay check in midwest. then started consulting work - mostly as W2 with mostly single layer. always stayed a remote dev/sr dev but never cracked high dollar billing rate or tried C2C or multiple jobs. there is always talk of downward pressure on dev rates since it is done much cheaper in India. thoughts on what to expect for the next 5 years or so.
