Worst work culture, is it jus my experience or is it everyone in IT like that?

It’s very toxic not good for health. Either learn talking in a sarcastic way which they don’t understand or just bend over

define boundaries, when they give you a task don't you ask timelines ? If they want you to be punctual and responsive then nothing wrong with that. 

If their work culture doesn't match yours then find new one. Appatidaaka just bend.

this desi work culture is normal , until they accept you as their own

Problem is they don’t trust. Only I know how much hard work I put into it. What you have done they don’t care or recognize.

Are they working in Agile? If yes then standup meetings are a thing in Agile kada? But it should be not be a discussion but simply a task is x% done .. 

A lot of desis evolved over time .. I see less and less toxic people at work now-a-days .. 

Learn to handle people, situation. Build relationships. They might be picking on you as you are new. Ask your manager the expectations and about the culture in the team. What they expect out of you and how communication is expected. Then explain how you are used to working at previous places. Bridge the gap ..
