Cbn did reforms and invested a lot in the electricity generation.. maa chinnapudu half day current undedi kadu.. frequent current cuts are a regular thing.. summer lo aa yendalaki current pothe vachipoyedi.. farmers didn’t want free power, they wanted good high wattage power in the day time instead of midnight.. ma polaalaki motor run chesi water pettaali ante midnight varaku current undedi kaadu… thankfully a lot of private power projects came and lot of power is generated now and it is all integrated too.. Arogyasri is a good scheme and helped lot of poor people. But it is like Medicare and Medicaid here.. full of scams and there are so many private hospitals that scam the government and survive just on this scheme.. they create fake documents with paid people and get money from the govt.. there are no cross checks.. govt spends 15K crores every year on arogyasri.. imagine how many medical colleges can be built, new hospitals can be built and the health care can be improved with that.. I can give lot of examples where this scheme helped really.. Quote

This very theoretical argument is as old as the argument itself. There is no other institute like AIIMS which is run by a state government. Have you ever wondered why a state government couldn't operate a facility like AIIMS ? North Bihar and South bihar ante cash problem, Tamil Nadu and Maharastra la kuda AIIMS lanti scale institute ledu. Governmenr run health care is an outdated, low efficiency process. Train, employ, manage and run healthcare by government ate vachipotundi. Present scheme where government is paying insurance premium for people to get treated at private hospitals actually worked so well so that almost all other states have adopted this scheme and its now Pan India. Like all other schemes, loop holes ikada kuda vunayi and each day it is getting better. All over the world, healthcare costs perigipotunte India la matram health care costs actually standardised avutunayi, thanks to this one scheme. Govt fixed prices and rates and private hospitals andaru ide price ki cheyali, if they cross the limit, they won't get paid and has the risk of getting blacklisted. Insurance backed healthcare is the solution for India. Let govt pay for the insurance and private sector will take care of everything including doctor education, training, facilities. 1 Quote

I am not saying this scheme didn’t help people.. but there is lot of fraud.. those funds can be well spent on improving the health care across the state by improving the current hospitals and hiring more doctors.. Jagan took a good step on improving the health care and this sector needs consistent funding.. imagine adding an additional 15K crore per year to health department and making doctors more responsible.. I visited govt hospital several times.. the sanitation, management, huge wait times, heavy work load on doctors… overall it is terrible.. everyone who works there and goes there look very frustrated… Quote

All the GOVT hospitals can not take that much load unless you de centralized it .. that's why private hospitals were included in the network. As i Said earlier this scheme has closed lot of the loop hole which they had earlier. I would say even if there is 5% fraud lets go with this and try to plug them out. There is not system in this world which is 100% efficient. Over the lapse of time you will find lot more and you will be closing them. Creating lot of GOVT hospitals would not solve the problem otherwise YSR would have done it already, unless we include private hospitals the scheme will not serve its purpose. 1 Quote
