bros, somebody knocked my door today saying there would be no upfront cost to buy install solar panels and good discount on electric bills . Govt is funding the panels and i give them the space on my roof for solar panels and it produces energy extra energy goes back to the grid anta. But end of it there is another bill i have to pay for the company who is giving out the panels. it is transferable to new home owner incase i plan to sell this home.

so basically if i am paying $136 as electric bill that will be replaced with $107 another bill but fixed for that year. is this worth? any thoughts

I checked with my coworker who installed Commercial solar panels at his warehouse. He's on a similar zero upfront deal and said power bills dropped a lot. The key thing he mentioned was to read all the fine print—some contracts lock you in for years, and maintenance terms can vary. But overall, he’s saving money each month without paying anything out of pocket in the beginning.
