I wouldn't call it as luck. I spend thousands of hours researching the company. And even after I initially bought, it dropped 80%. I remember those days when I almost lost confidence....but still kept reading up on anything and everything I can find and went through their conference calls 5 times. Sometimes I used to get so engrossed listening to the calls that I didn't even realize I was walking for almost 2 hours. It took lot of work and guts to quadraple my investment when everyone was yelling bankruptsy at 2$. I have some at 1.98 too lol. The lowest it ever went. Similarly, lot of people researched pretty hard and bought HIMS at 6$. When they were telling me to buy at 6$ I was a bear and didn't believe them. Felt anyone can replicate that model easily. I was just trading in and out...kept buying at 13 and selling at 20 and buying at 20 and selling at 30. Only after researching more and going through the numbers and conference calls, I turned into a bull and went long at 20. You won't win everything but odds will be in your favour once you put in the work. You just need to hit it big with 2-3 stocks and not sell them and they would cover a bunch of bad decisions. Work will also stop you from panic selling or selling prematurely 1 3 Quote
