Just height cannot explain this. It obviously came down to mental strength. 

Most badminton champions are from Asia who are smaller in stature and height.

Of course but he was so close to being in the FINAL man.....absolutely soul crushing loss this....cricket terms lo cheppali antey you had 1 run to score in 6 balls with 4 wickets in hand and you basically lost the match.
