Marriage lo oka balance annadi untundi ... We have to make sure its in the middle .. if we see it going the other way, we have to figure out a way to get it to middle.

For e.g. If you take dowry, its already on their side. You wont get the respect you deserve from their family. Don't take even marriage expenses. Bear it.

Likewise, affairs after marriage, getting caught red handed with messages, etc swings the balance in their favor.

Also mana @Thokkalee cheppinatlu, marriage ayina kothalo Baby, da, etc and giving in for whatever they want (you know how they get what they want)... swings balance in their favor.

Be nice, love them & share but they have to reciprocate as well. 

Doing some nice things to them, sharing chores once in a while, appreciate certain things swings the balance in your favor. 

Also Men are logical and women are emotional. Saying no to them is an art. Say yes to everything they say, then put a question in such a way that they start thinking and they themselves say NO to it.
