I have heard one case where, say the person working full time with an insurance company itself (say BCBS) and the second company (say walmart but they offer health insurance from BCBS) is the client for that insurance company so you get into the insurance system of the same company would that not raise a flag ? May be it does. But its a rare case. In a general scenario, a person working for two companies has insurance with the same company. If he takes it, does the insurance company report back to the first company? I have no idea. May be rejecting insurance with 2nd company is the only way to go. Quote
VictorLawrence Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I’ve had to juggle side gigs before, and digging into the rules showed me how messy things can get because there are many types of laws that shape what counts as authorized work. I’ve used that resource to get a clearer picture of how different legal areas work together, which made it easier to figure out what kind of second job wouldn’t cause status issues or tax headaches.
