These organizations esp. TANA made sense long back when the number of Indians were low. TANA did some great work and helped those in need. 

Manda ekkuvaithe, majjiga palachana padinatlu .. New organizations formed due to differences with existing or POWER struggles to suit their needs and caste. Eventually all these organizations become more about caste, political affiliations rather than helping people.

There is no place for these organizations now. People have enough money, and there is general awareness to take care of their needs.

Basically lot of corporates will have matching grants for NGOs , So employees of NGOs will chose these telugu organizations and get kick backs. I think origins of this case started Chase, Columbus, OH.
