me too.. except for Rajamouli or Sukumar movies.. our movies are very bad in story and making quality.. prati daniki set vesi chala artificial ga thistaaru.. samudram ki set, beach ki set, ship ki set, temple ki set, etc etc… SVP lo beach ki set vesaranta bcoz lolbob didn’t want to shoot outdoors 

malayalam movies chala natural ga untayi.. even Tamil movies are better when it comes to sets..

I had a lot of expertise in Home theatre systems before .. But haven't kept up last few years .. 

I have a Harman Kardon Receiver + Polk Audio Tower Speakers with a Kplish subwoofer. I used to have a Velodyne Subwoofer, which was an absolute menace. I sold it when I moved. It's too heavy. 

Personally I love polk speakers as they are easy on ears compared to Kplish.

I am old style, heavy speakers guy rather than in-ceiling or cute speaker systems .. My advice is to get from Costco. They usually have good deals during this time. 

Onkyo has decent receivers with top of the line features .. priced well .. Yamaha depends on model. You have to read reviews .. Denon was good. Not sure how its now.

I went with Klipsch Reference premiere incl sub with Denon receiver.. I read a lot on this and everyone adviced me not to go with different models or brands with speakers and subs..

All speakers (5 or 7 depending on setup) should be same brand and same model. Otherwise sync avvavu...Receiver can be different and same with sub woofer ..
