I’ve dealt with D R Horton before so seeing them ranked low doesn’t shock me. Most of the folks I’ve talked to who built with the big companies say the same thing, you kind of feel like you’re being moved along a set path.

That’s why the contrast hit me the first time I stopped by a United Built Homes office, the conversation felt slower and more about what you already have to work with, then the build on your land idea shows up as part of that chat and not like a pitch, and some people actually like that setup because it gives them a bit more say in the process.
