This can be termed as Huawei problem. 

Huawei is now making phones that outpace Apple and Samsung. 

But people outside China have less trust in Huawei and continue to buy Apple and Samsung phones.

I tried something similar for a side project and ran into the same issue with crappy odds and fast losses. Random tricks helped for a bit, but the house always wins.
