Air: polluted. (Even though Chicago is among the most polluted cities in the USA, it still has a better AQI compared to 99% of urban India.) Food: contaminated by the excessive use of pesticides. The situation is so dire that, during my childhood, my brother and I would find honey in dense woods with plenty of bee hives. Nowadays, it is nearly impossible to find any. Corruption: pervasive. Roads: in deplorable condition. Public transit: extremely inadequate. We should be thankful that we reside in the south where there remains some degree of accountability in the public system. 1 Quote

Popular Post Android_Halwa Posted February 12 Popular Post Report Posted February 12 In my experience I tend to believe Indian medical system much more than any where else. I know its commercial but as long as you have connections, you will get the right treatment. I once paid 5k for blood test… 5 Quote
vorey_peteruuu Posted February 12 Report Posted February 12 There are good doctors in india For a major loss of blood/injury case, one doctor suggested vitamins and minerals, micronutrients/ which the US doctors doesn't care. Most of the ailments can be googled and medicines can be brought without much hassle Quote

Wrong diagnosis and people end up dying or straight surgeries You need bit of medical literacy and ability to ask questions, instead of trusting whatever you're told blindly. You can use all the tools at your disposal, internet, AI, books and what not. Question and find answers. You will see the red flags. Quote
