Visas and GCs Reduced from approximately 2 million in Dec 2024 to 200k in Feb. Atleast half of these could be beneficiaries of spouse sponsorship.

If US grants a max of 1M GCs a year, how come they report 1.4, 1.7 etc ?

This article is about visas and GCs anna. Not just GCs alone. It includes all kind of visas such as f1 etc  

 

Also, I don’t think visas sponsored by spouses and kids are counted in that numerical limit anna. I could be wrong, but that is my understanding. In this article, they are referring to all immigrants. It includes employment, family, asylum and spouse sponsored GCs.

yes visa slow ayindi but it will pick up 

gc all combined max 1 mil per yr

spouse etc..everything counts 

once limit reached its stop for the year 

so they issue few every month to keep their jobs like we do , close only 2 tickets per sprint
