I'm just telling you what I saw, learned and observed. TDP never shut down it's shop in Telangana. Only upper level leadership was snatched by BRS. There is no point of Cadre if people keep swinging votes. Let me tell you the ground reality in Khammam. There are gaps in BRS strategy of making TDP redundant. They couldn't get hold of Kamma leaders early on in Khammam. They lured Thummala first. BRS choked on Nama took away his properties. It's Thummala's pressure that brought in Puvvada into BRS. Nama and Thummala were at odds from the begining because of Baboru's divide and rule policy. Baboru encouraged Nama faction to keep Thummala in check early on. But Thummala lost in legislative polls due to puvvada and Nama resorting to cross voting in palair to Kandala Upendar Reddi. That's when Thummala wanted to Join BJP, along with Ponguleti. Ponguleti was a close associate of Jagan but was also a close associate of Thummala from his working relationship with him as a contractor as they go back to latter's hey days as R&B minister. There was a plan to join BJP with a huge rally with Shah attending the meeting in Sardar Patel stadium. They would have joined BJP, had BJP NOT decided to compromise with BRS. They decided to join Congress after deliberations with Baboru. Ponguleti was at odds with Bhatti first. They compromised on the case that Ponguleti funds entire Khammam district and along with Jagan's coterie doing some convincing. Thummala consolidated entire TDP cadre. Nama was a mere contractor not a leader. Entire TDP votes in Khammam transferred to Congress that way. This was how Congress won Khammam decisively. Quote

Stories chala untai, idi very common politicking in India which every party does. Not sure what you want to prove. Jagan chilaka ponguleti so jagan defeated brs anta, saripothada? Ultimately brs created the environment where leaders couldn't work with each other. Ponguleti tried a lot to compromise, Dora didn't care and reaped the consequences. Thummala and puvvada don't see eye to eye, so shouldn't have brought both of them, it worked before but now backfired. Quote
