Usually best doctors who think they can negotiate better salaries in private sector move to US .

But even among them not everyone move because I heard that in the US even though doctors get paid higher, usually you have higher bureaucratic costs ( too much insurance paperwork) and high malpractice insurance premium cost compared to Canada .

CBC, NPR and PBS ( USA) , DW (Germany) , BBC (UK)  and ABC( Australian ABC not American abc) are govt. Funded but don't parrot govt. Views because they are all setup as independent organizations to avoid political influence.

In short they are not run like our  Doordarshan or Al Jazeera ( Qatar) where they are controlled by the government 

 

Note: NPR is only partially govt. Funded 

 

You guys have to remember western institutions ( we can include Japan even though it's not western country) operate at a different league than 3rd world countries like India where you dont have proper checks and balances.

The Indian constitution was written with checks and balances but it's not followed unfortunately

Funding undhi bias implicit. Very simple

 ABN, TV5= TDP, Sakshi= YCP, Suntv = DMK, so on soforth.

There's cases where the western public funded news agencies published stories criticising their own government. You will not see that in 3rd world countries
