Not all public schools are unsafe, public elementary school which my kid goes is secured completely and you need to identify then only they open door. Visit your public school and decide.

if you can afford non xtian private schools are best but you need to maintain that lifestyle as most of kids are rich.

Private schools are pure stupidity.

Most kids in community will be in public school and it will be isolating.

More stress for parents to pickup and drop off as well in many cases.

Instead of that take a 10000$ pay cut by not aiming for too much in your job and spend that extra time with your kid.

This would go a long way.

And don't worry too much about school shootings.

They are generally rare and of that 61% happens in high schools.
