భార‌త ఆర్మీ చేప‌ట్టిన‌ ఆపరేషన్‌ సిందూర్‌ తర్వాత పరిస్థితి ఒక్కసారిగా మారిపోయింది. పాకిస్థాన్‌, పీఓకేలోని తొమ్మిది చోట్ల దాడులు చేసి ఉగ్రమూకల స్థావరాలను పూర్తిగా ధ్వంసం చేసింది. ఆ తర్వాత పాకిస్థాన్ వ‌క్ర‌బుద్ధితో భార‌త్‌పై దాడులకు తెగబెడుతోంది. డ్రోన్‌, మిస్సైల్ ల‌తో దాడులు చేస్తోంది. ఆ దాడుల‌ను భార‌త బ‌లగాలు దీటుగా తిప్పికొడుతున్నాయి. 

ఈ నేప‌థ్యంలో ఇరుదేశాల మధ్య తీవ్ర‌ ఉద్రిక్త వాతావ‌ర‌ణం నెల‌కొంది. దీంతో పంజాబ్, జమ్మూక‌శ్మీర్, లడఖ్, గుజరాత్, రాజస్థాన్, హిమాచల్ ప్రదేశ్‌లోని 24 ఎయిర్‌పోర్టుల‌ను గురువారం అధికారులు తాత్కాలికంగా మూసివేశారు. ఈ ప్రాంతాలు సరిహద్దుకు సమీపంగా ఉండడం, వ్యూహాత్యకంగా సున్నితమైన ప్రాంతాలు కావడంతో ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. పఠాన్‌కోఠ్‌, జలంధర్‌, జైసల్మేర్‌ వంటి ప్రాంతాల్లో పాక్‌ డ్రోన్‌ దాడులు చేసిన నేపథ్యంలో భద్రతను దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకొని ఈ చర్యలు తీసుకున్నారు. ఈ క్రమంలో పలు విమానయాన సంస్థలు ప్రయాణికులకు అడ్వైజరీని జారీ చేశాయి.
